Gateway Region Kiwanis Foundation 2023-24

Purpose:

For the benefit and usage of all Kiwanis Clubs in Division 6, 7, 8. and 9 to support the charitable endeavors of Kiwanis International and the Missouri Arkansas District.

In the St. Louis area, Region IV maintains Kiwanis Gateway Foundation as a 501(c)3. If your club is not 501(c)3, but a donor requires one, you can arrange for donation to the Gateway Foundation, who will then distribute funds to charities of your choice (for a modest 0.5% service fee, or minimum $1.00). For details contact the current Region IV Trustee or Treasurer.

Procedures:

1. Make check payable to Kiwanis or preferably to Gateway Region Kiwanis Foundation.
2. Mail check to Carla O’Brien at the address below. Electronic transfers may be possible but check with Carla for details.
3. For the 501(c)3 letter, send along the donor’s business card or name, address, phone number, and email address.
4. Include the charity to receive the funds with contact information. The charity must be a 501(3). Include the charity EIN or IRS Form W-9 if available. The check will be issued immediately.
