Get your Kicks on Route 66 – Get Ready to Learn and Lead!! Missouri Arkansas District Convention!

This year’s District Convention promises to put you on the fast track to a successful year of fun and service to your Kiwanis Club. We are traveling on Route 66 from all over Arkansas and Missouri headed down the road to great education sessions, a motivational message from Kiwanis International President Bert West and a fun filled evening of trivia. We will make a pit stop at the Kiwanis Hub to bid on Silent Auction items for the Earl Collins Foundation and refill our tanks with high octane programming. Be sure to pack a little extra for the Convoy of Hope service project and plan to pick up a hitchhiker or two as you meet up with old friends and make new ones. Buckle your seatbelts and put those wayfarers on and meet us in Springfield. It is going to be a wild ride!

The Convention meets on August 26 & 27, 2022 Friday begins early with breakfast included with your hotel reservation, registration and educational sessions kicking off two days of reunions with old friends and colleagues, meeting new Kiwanians, engaging in learning opportunities and most important: fellowship and fun.

Educational sessions include Tips to revitalize your membership recruitment efforts with Patsey McGuire; Making Meetings fun with Katie Rennard; A More Diverse Kiwanis – How to make your club look like your community with Brad Boyd, Youth Protection – why is it important with Tiffany Ermeling and Secrets of the District with Mary Vaughan.

Don’t forget we have an In-Person and Virtual House of Delegates. You can find the schedule and all forms on the district website above.

What to bring to the convention:

  1. something to donate to the Earl Collins Silent Auction (all proceeds support our SLPs, BJKYK and college scholarships).
  2. Please help us support the Convoy of Hope by bringing items to fill Hygiene Kits –
