As club elections are coming up in May, we will want to be prepared to begin Club Leadership Education in our District and our divisions. Below is the link to this year’s educational materials. Kiwanis International is no longer printing out the Leadership Guides, however, we can download the guide and email attendees in advance of training.
Since we will be working with Lt. Governors elect to schedule these trainings during June and July, as well as offering training at District Convention in St. Louis we would like to have everyone who is willing to serve in this capacity confirmed.
From KI: Kiwanis Engage will not launch before the new Kiwanis year. So continue training on Kiwanis Connect (old system) through the fall. We plan to have training released for the new system 2 months before it launches. That date is still to be determined.

For 2021, the Leadership Guide is little changed from the newly revised book Kiwanis International issued in 2020–
This book replaced all four of the previous officers books. Updated Powerpoints were also issued. The 2021 Powerpoints are little changed from 2020 versions.
In June, 2020, KI had Virtual Online Training by video conference for club presidents, secretaries, treasurers and membership chairs. The webinar recordings of those sessions are available here:
Any member is welcome to view them. You will need to register to see the videos. This will let us know who attends.
This year, KI plans to offer similar online CLE training sessions the week of July 19 and August 16, 2021.
CLE Part 2:
In 2020 Missouri-Arkansas District held follow-ups to the training for club officers, a chance to better understand the District. The Powerpoint and pdf from the training session is available:
Officers need to complete the training videos by Sep 30 to qualify for Distinguished Club.
KI has also announced plans to phase out the Secretary Dashboard used to enter membership information and monthly reports in the KI computers. The new system using Saleforce.com technology is expected in January, 2022. (KI promises to provide Salesforce training before it goes live.) This means 2020-21 will be the last year for the current Secretary Dashboard and monthly reports.
